TeleCounter (1992-1994)
Scientific Project Manager. Research project in cooperation with six Swiss
financial institutions like Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft AG (SBG) [now
UBS], Schweizerische Bankverein AG (SBV) [now UBS], Schweizerische Post,
Telekurs AG. The project developed the Electronic Mall concept and realized
an innovative Internet Banking solution (prototype) based on the UN
EDIFACT standard.

(emb.net) (1995-1996)
Scientific Project Manager. The project built up, based on the concepts
developed in the TeleCounter project, one of the first regional but
nevertheless cross-border and thus international electronic marketplaces
in Europe. Involved parters: University of Koblenz, IBK - Internationale
Bodenseekonferenz, governments of the federal states of Bayern,
Baden-Württemberg, Vorarlberg, and of the canton St. Gallen, VRZ
Informatik AG (Dornbirn), and others.

Electronic Markets CCEM (1996-2004)
Scientific Project Manager. In cooperation with business partners the CCEM
conducted application-oriented research projects. Partner companies in the
period of 1996-2004: Atag Ernst & Young, Zürich, AGI Software AG,
Zürich, DaimlerChrysler, Stuttgart/ Berlin, Die Schweizerische Post, Bern,
Gruner + Jahr, Hamburg, Bon Appetit Gruppe, Moosseedorf, Switzerland, UBS

Services SCWS (2008-09): Responsible
for the WP ‘requirements analysis’
The project develops a service-oriented reference architecture for
IT-services for the federal landscape of Swiss universities. A repository for
scholarly publications serves as a pilot and for evaluation of the
architecture. The project contributes to the development of SOA reference
architectures. Partners of the project are: University of St. Gallen
(lead), HTW Chur, University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen, Crealogix, SWITCH,
