Currently, I am head of the Swiss Institute for Information Research - SII at the University of Applied Sciences – HTW Chur, in Chur, Switzerland (SII Profile in English and German). The SII comprises all Information Science related research activities as well as study programs such as the Bachelor of Science- (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Information Science (planned as of September 2009) as well as the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Information Science.
The SII focuses on the following research areas: Archival Sciences and Records Management, Library Science and Library Consulting, Information Management, Information and Media Literacy, Information Engineering. My major research interests concern changing patterns of communication and interaction arising from the emerging Digital Economy.
